The Domain Modeling Tool provides intelligent support to a human user who wants to model a domain of knowledge and annotate documents with adequate domain model elements. First, the tool is able to process documents and suggest possibly relevant terms based on document analysis. It does not automatically create the model however; this is left to the user. The user can create either concepts or properties from selected terms. Furthermore, the tool is also able to organize the content of documents in multiple ways, which supports the creative process of the user in trying to structure the domain. For example, the tool provides methods to group relevant terms or documents. Second, the Domain Modeling Tool provides semi-automated support for annotation of documents with domain model elements. Initially, a set of documents must be annotated manually, before new documents can be automatically classified. The tool will suggest concepts annotations, which can either be accepted or rejected by the user. Naturally, purely manual annotation is also possible. Currently, documents can be annotated either with concepts or individuals. The Domain Modeling Tool is implemented as two tabs in Protégé, a Java-based ontology editor.” Testen Sie das Tool doch einmal aus.
